Description
Up for sale is a very old and well built solid copper sauce pan that has “seen some things” over its many years of use. It’s an absolute tank of a pan that might of started out as just a basic 9” sauce pans before the double boiler stop ring was added to the sides. The pan is a little rough but not super darkly tarnished like others I’ve seen. It could used but would need to be sent in for a good cleaning/re-tinning. The handle feels like a copper baseball bat and adds some serious heft to the pan. The bottom on the pan has a very well done hand riveted, copper repair patch that blends in very well. The sides of the pan has some dents, dings and scratches but those can be taken out during the re-tinning process. The pan measures 9 1/4” across and 19 1/4” with the handle. Capacity is a bit over 4qts.
